The following represents the full list of 2026 candidates endorsed by the Florida AFL-CIO, as considered by our statewide members and Central Labor Councils and voted on by the state federation’s Committee on Public Education (COPE).

Candidates backed by the Florida AFL-CIO are made part of one of Florida’s largest and longest running organized volunteer political mobilizations in the state. This program includes volunteers in every corner of the state making phone calls, knocking on doors and sending mail to the approximately 1.3 million active union members, retirees and their families from all walks of life. The Florida AFL-CIO provides an infrastructure that utilizes the most up to date tools and data to spread the word about those candidates who have committed to improve the lives of working families, union and non-union alike.
