COMING 2028 – COPE Combined Convention!

Another election year means another COPE Convention! As the 2028 General Election nears, so will our excitement to gather and debate the best direction for Florida’s working families. Please read below for preliminary information pertaining to COPE 2028!

COPE 2028 Agenda

Starting in 2028, delegates will convene to both elect new leadership and vote on endorsements, key issues, constitutional amendments at one unified event every two years. This move is expected to reduce staffing costs and produce significant savings for the FL AFL-CIO and our members, allowing us to better be able to allocate resources to do what we do best: fight for working families! Please stay tuned for convention details closer to the date.

Date: June 15-18, 2028

Location: Hyatt Regency Miami – 400 SE Second Avenue, Miami FL 33131-2197
