Working Families Lobby Corps 2022: Back in Tallahassee

This year the Working Families Lobby Corps is returning to Tallahassee! While we had some success last year during the Virtual Working Families Lobby Corps, we’re excited to have our citizen activists back in the halls of power in Tallahassee.

From the first day of the Legislative Session to Sine Die, its official closing, members of the Working Families Lobby Corps are the voice standing up for Florida’s working people. This year Working Families Lobby Corps members will be returning to in-person advocacy in the Florida Capitol. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, all members of this year’s WFLC will be required to show proof of vaccination.

As a member of the Working Families Lobby Corps, you will spend a week in Tallahassee speaking up for Florida’s working families. Members can look forward to learning the ins and outs of Florida’s legislative process, meeting with their elected officials, becoming empowered to bring the fight for working people back to their communities, and solidarity with their fellow working people.

There have been some minor changes to the program as we return to in-person events. Members will now travel on Sundays, in anticipation of Monday morning committee meetings. Legislative briefings will depend on scheduled committees/legislation. Morning briefings will continue as usual from Tuesday through Thursday.

The Working Families Lobby Corps has been the premier program fighting back against legislation that harms working people. Click here to sign up to join the 2022 Working Families Lobby Corps.
